The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently assessed the national radioanalytical laboratory demand and national capacity/capability relative to a radiological dispersal device incident. This presentation will begin with a brief overview of the EPA's assessment and then focus on radioanalytical laboratory preparedness for responding to a radiological/nuclear incident such as a terrorist attack.
